Been there, seen it, shot it - KFD

Ukrainian fashion world is now swirling around one huge event. Kiev Fashion Days have finally started. Being a very nosy and fearless blogger, I was swift to get my Press badge and photograph all the things that either raised my eyebrows or inspired me to come back for more (and there is more to come in the next couple of days, stay tuned).

There'll be lectures, shows, mini-shows, installations, exhibitions, and a lot of improvisation with shoes and cuts. Kyiv's excited. I hope you are, too. If we talk mini fashion-week, images speak better than words. So enjoy my photo report and have a great weekend.

My bf Alex (left) and buddy Anton (right) =) Note my guy's new Obey tee. We shopped before the show

Met these sweet bloggers (also participating in the blogger competition). Read them at Totally Blond and It's So Pink

Caught these Jeremy Scott for Adidas angels. But they are angels, aren't they?

Christian Louboutin's, if I'm not mistaken. Sex with shoelaces - that's what they are.

Oh, and that's me. I was literally in somebody else's shoes. My ones eneded up being soaking wet after the unexpected rain, so I had to borrow my friend's Bershka boots (thanks, Nat! x) You can check out her blog: WILDLAND

I had a Lady Gaga (her lovely latest self) dejavu at the OK show

The next big things

I'm off sick, at home, in my pijamas, drinking hot tea with lemon and watching movies from 1980's with my boyfriend. No work, no uni, no drinking, no clubbing, no blogging. All the blogger stuff seems to be far away right now, but I want to keep in touch. So let's talk fashion.

First of all, look at these. Been flickin' through V Magazine fashion stories online. Man, how do they always get them right? Always. Enjoy the breath of 1970's in Glam Slam by Mario Testino.

The next big thing to look forward to in Ukraine (after the Kiev Fashion Days, of course) is Best Fashion Awards. I wonder how it will go. With the provocative taste of our celebrities and desperate fashion views of some of the designers, the ceremony is promising to be a parade of eyebrow-rising outfits. I hope it's going to be great, though.

Well, and everyone in Kyiv (and beyond) is obsessing about Kiev Fashion Days - a mini-fashion week with international guests (the likes of Face Hunter) and some of the coolest Ukrainian designers' shows on agenda. As a participant of the aforementioned blogger competition, I'm meant to get my badge very soon (hope so).

Ok, that's it for today. Hope you all have a nice Thursday. x

No flash, please

As promised, I went photohunting at Ukrainian Fashion Week yesterday. Here's my report from Ukrainian fashion lands, darlings. Enjoy.

Models from Bevza show

Olya studies at my uni. Check out her blog Algo Hermoso

My beloved Veronica @ Fashion Insider

I was told not to use the flash during the show. So the photographs from the actual show turned out to be quite useless, excpet for a few ones.

Who is this woman? Let me know, if you have the answer. She was interviewed backstage, but I don't know who she is.

Model Polina Moroz backstage

The designer - Irina Krasilnikova

The show by Krasilnikova was great. The collection was called ""Recontruction", so there was a lot of layering, draping, gracefull ruffles (not those girlie "romance types") interesting exaggerated shapes and no color clashing and madness that we saw at some other designers' shows (hallelujah!). Black, light-grey and carrot-red were pretty much the only colours used and I loved it. Another thing to note: leather skirts and tops. I personally fell in love with a black leather tee and a few long dresses.
