One of the trickiest pieces of jewelry - at least for me - is a brooch. It's just hard to wear it without looking like you tried too hard or like an old lady.
One of my friends gave me a chunky Sonia Rykiel brooch for my birthday, and it made me think of new ways to wear it besides on a tweed jacket (the classic) and a scarf (beyond classic and bordering on boring). I ended up pinning it to my floaty shirt dress.
And then I generated more ideas on how to wear your brooches and look fresh and sexy. Some of them you already know, and some are my impromptu inventions.
