Did I mention that I have found a job? I now work for Argo, a company that brought Benetton, Guess, Mango, Miss Sixty and more to Ukraine. I'm in the marketing and advertising department.
We have now started up our own blog. It's called Argo Notebook. It's in russian, but everyone can go and check out the photographs.
Felt like I needed to share the information with you, my fellow bloggers. =)
Hope you all have a great week!

Backstage at UFW
This is what happened between the KAMENSKAYAKONONOVA and ARTEMKLIMCHUK shows this Monday.
Photographs by me.
Thanks to an acquaintance, I managed to sneak backstage and photograph the fascinating scenes: models removing their make-up fom previous shows and getting ready to go for their next make-up and hairdo, practicing their walk and grabbing a quick bite. I always love the backstage buzz.

UFW - an intruder’s report
No matter how much I dream of making a fashion career some day, I believe it is great to just enjoy a fashion week from a blogger’s point of view – you are not really involved in anything, but you can somehow mix with everything around you.
While designers, stylists, photographers, models and producers were buzzing around putting the shows together, I blissfully exercised my camerawork for my own pleasure (and for my readers’ enjoyment, of course).

This is what I ended up with outfit-hunting before a show at the Ukrainian Fashion Week. It was my first trip to the UFW in ages. And I’m left feeling very inspired to blog and force people to pose for my camera.
Enjoy!

NY state of mind
Recently, I have been dreaming of going to the NYC, even though I'm more of a Europe girl (meaning that Milan and London were always the deram cities for me before). Yet, I guess it's time to think about a visit to the USA.
Maybe I have watched too much of Sex and the City (I know, I know it's old, but I still can't help loving the series), maybe it's the Americana boom in the S/S 2010 fashion, or maybe it's something else, but New York fascinates me.
And how exciting it was to find yet another outrageously cool V Magazine editorial dedicated to NY lifestyle! It's a photoshoot by the genius Mario Testino, featuring muscians, designers, choreographers, artists, publishers etc., amongst whom there are Marc Jacobs, Chloe Sevingy, Lady Gaga, Liya Kebede, Mark Ronson and other influential souls. Enjoy.

The marine!
I spent half of July and the end of August in Sankt-Petersbourg, Russia, with my boyfriend.
The city, although it's not really a seaside one, is very much into sailors, ships and all things nautical. The Neva river is buzzing with ships, and the so called "white nights" (when it practically doesn't get dark at night) are oh so beautiful. And a part of the Gulf of Finland is there, so I guess SPB can be called a nautical city.
Therefore, I had a perfect opportunity to go very nautical myself and strut my stuff in my Whistles dress and Carvela open-toed ankle boots (and please do not judge the face on the picture).

Visit this city. It's a Russian Venice.
