Ginger

Ginger suede and cork heels - what more could I wish for? These severe Kurt Geiger mary-janes have been to quite a few parties with me already. I love them and they are more comfortable than they look.

When I wore them to work yesterday, a sudden rain started. To save these from all the water I had to put plastic bags onto them. That's just me - protecting fashion in extreme conditions. =)

Have a great weekend, dear readers.

On sequins

This Matthew Williamson dress makes me cry of despair! =) It's so beautiful. And the colours, the combination of them and the ginger ankle boots, and the socks, and the belt - ah, isn't this look the one?

Summer is the time of the year to party, and a gal definitely needs some sparkles to look like a star. Enjoy summertime, guys and dolls!

Bridgitte

I believe Bridgitte Bardot to be one of the most beautiful women of 20th Century. Her style is something to be inspired by, too.  She became an icon of the 50s, 60s, 70s and even now remains so. It seems that both Kate Moss and Claudia Schiffer have looked up to her (especially the latter). Plus she introduced the bikini to the masses. An amazing woman, don't you think?

Disney and prophecies

The royal wedding in April fascinated me. I loved Kate's dress, I loved the couple and the whole entourage around the event. Before the wedding, London was buzzing with preparation (the souvenirs, the photos of the Prince and his then fiance in every issue of every magazine etc.). I'm definitely not the only one who couldn't wait to see the ceremony itself.

And then... I saw this this morning. I couldn't stop laughing. Disney knew what was coming =)

Peaches and cream

I love this vintage peach top. My mum made it herself in 1979 when she was 19 (like me now!). This only proves that fashion is pretty timeless. Our parents wore whatever we would buy right now. This makes me wonder - what's next? Are we going to see any fashion inventions in this lifetime? But vintage is omnicool, anyway.

Shorts: Topshop
Top: vintage
Sandals: Bata
Bag: Topshop
Bandana: initially my brother's brought from Texas, but then stolen from him for the sake of hair accessorising =)

I'm all about bikinis and hair accessories at the moment. Yesterday I hit Topshop for bandeau bikini tops and couldn't fit into my usual size. I guess, no more buns for me before the start of the beach season. And what are you up to, my fellow bloggers?

PS Summer's in town! Have a good one.
